Son of Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Field; husband of Rose Field, of Llanishen, Glamorgan.

Albert was born 10-08-1913 in Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales. He was wounded at the village of Netersel on the 24th of September 1944, and died of his wounds at the field hospital at Meerveldhoven in the 5th of October 1944. He was initially buried at Meerveldhoven.

 

His name is on the Lisvane war memorial.
