From the service records of Frederick John Morgan, the following account can be reconstructed.

Frederick John Morgan was born on 12 September 1921 in the Rhondda Valley, South Wales. In civilian life he worked as a polisher. He enlisted in the British Army on 14 July 1939 and joined the South Wales Borderers.

Frederick John Morgan was not married.

He embarked for service in North West Europe on 25 June 1944.

According to his service records, he was 5 feet 7 inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Frederick John Morgan was killed in action on 24 September 1944.
