Percival was born on 10  januari 1920, Brighton, U.K. He died of his wounds on the 27th of September 1944. He was initially buried at Meerveldhoven before being moved to the Valkenswaard War Cemetery.

“My father was born 10th Jan 1920 in Brighton, Sussex, England. On his Army Service Record the following is stated, Army Number 14559943, Height 5ft 6 ins, Weight 122 lbs, Eys Blue, Hair Fair. His medical grade was grade 11 due to his vision problems in one eye, this is why he was in the RAMC. He joined the Corps 18th March 1943 and died of Wounds 27th Sept 1944, he was in the army for 1 year and 194 days.”

From the service records of Percival George Blunt, the following account can be reconstructed.

Percival George Blunt was born on 10 January 1920 in Brighton, Sussex. In civilian life he worked as a fitter. He enlisted in the British Army on 18 March 1943 and served with the Royal Army Medical Corps.

Percival George Blunt was not married, but his records indicate that he had one or more children.

He embarked for service in North West Europe on 3 June 1944.

According to his service records, he was 5 feet 6 inches tall, with fair hair and blue eyes.

Percival George Blunt died of wounds on 27 September 1944.
