Additional Information:
Son of Ernest and Emily Facey, of Penarth, Glamorgan.
Anthony Albert Facey was my late mothers (Elizabeth Pauline Facey – married name Cole) brother.
Not sure of his date of birth, but I do know that when Tony, as he was known, was born, he weighed only about 2lb and was fed on
a diet of brandy and milk to strengthen him up! He was born in Pill Street, Cogan, nr Penarth, Glamorganshire, Wales. He has a sister
Vivian (married name Richards) who is still living in Penarth. My mother talked about him frequently and about the great loss when he was taken in action.
He was initially buried at Steensel.
Original gravesite at Steensel.
