Son of Frederick William and Daisy Mary Graham; husband of Doreen May Graham, of Carshalton, Surrey.

Alfred Geddes Graham died of wounds sustained during action. He was initially buried at Meerveldhoven. In 1943 he became father of a daughter called Maureen. In the family it is told that Alfred was a Despatch rider, but this is not confirmed.

From the service records of Alfred Geddes Graham, the following account can be reconstructed.

Alfred Geddes Graham was born on 27 June 1922 in Sutton, Surrey. In civilian life he worked as a labourer. He enlisted in the British Army on 30 August 1941 and joined the Middlesex Regiment.

He married Doreen Mary Chalcraft on 21 November 1942 in Carshalton, Surrey. The couple had one child.

Alfred Geddes Graham embarked for service in North West Europe on 7 July 1944.

According to his service records, he was 5 feet 9 inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Alfred Geddes Graham died of wounds on 11 October 1944.
